About The Position

The Production Tech tends one or more machine tools, special purpose machines, or works to specifications on production basis for assembling an entire product or components of a product to produce the highest quality product for the end user. Requirements

Ability to use and understand air tools
Ability to use sockets and wrenches
Box Taping Machine
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

Lifts work piece manually onto pallets or workstation for assembly.
Perform quality checks on products and parts
Inspects and measures machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
Count and assemble kits for other components.
Wrap and box components.
Cleans machined parts. i.e. drill table, drill press.
Tends machines and equipment other than machine tools.
