As a Product Technician Specialist I, you will be trusted to perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations and subassemblies such as socket bonding, plastic joining, component assembly, wrapping, material packaging and product testing at our Manufacturing Facility in Houston, Texas! In this role, a typical day will include operating manufacturing packaging equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes. You will monitor, evaluate, and adjust packaging equipment to improve quality and efficiency, restock machines with packaging materials, and apply intermediate computer skills to access online resources and complete online training: Email, Workday, VEEVA. You will follow good manufacturing practices such as good documentation practices, read, understand and follow all Work Instructions (MAP's, SOP's) at all times, conduct quality inspections on products in accordance with quality specifications, and pack, wrap, secure, or label containers. Working on the assembly line, you will place components in accurate sequence or interact with automated production equipment, rework or reprocess assemblies and subassemblies, and maintain a positive attitude while working in a team environment. This role requires functioning in a high-paced environment with minimum supervision, performing material handling tasks requiring usage of handheld devices for inventory transactions in the warehouse management system, and operating automated or semi-automated equipment. You will also resolve moderate equipment issues, perform equipment and line setup, create and handle quality data, and conduct line clearance activities. Additionally, you will function as Line Lead and equipment expert over a designated production area and train others on intermediate and advanced operations.
