The Production Tech II will be responsible for driving development and continuous improvements in the Operations group, focusing on bettering quality, reliability, and lowering total costs. This position is part of the Production team and is located in Loveland, CO. It will be onsite.

Requirements

  • B.S. or equivalent in related Engineering or Technology degree; or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum (2) years related experience in an appropriate manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot/problem solve in a structured, logical manner.
  • Ability to perform or coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
  • Combination of office skills and hands-on activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement technologies, methods, and techniques.
  • Specify and select equipment.
  • Provide direction for development, maintenance, and procedures.
  • Coordinate the implementation of changes.
  • Design jigs, guards, and fixtures to aid associates.
  • Provide consultation to other teams.
  • Resolve problems.
  • Provide training to associates.
  • Actively maintain knowledge of new technologies, methods, and techniques.
  • Setup, program and run Injection Molding machines.
  • Understand all aspects of the ChemKey cell and apply skills to run and maintain all processes.
  • Work with all operators in a productive manner.
