About The Position

The primary responsibility of this role is to work closely with Well Analysts, Inject Well Controller/Pump Off Controller Technicians, and Lift Specialists to maximize injection capacity. This position requires active collaboration and daily interaction to ensure optimal performance of injection wells, addressing alarm exceptions, troubleshooting, and performing necessary repairs and adjustments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications preferred.
  • Previous experience in production technology or related field is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Proficiency with system software (PI, ICONICS, NEXUS).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with various teams effectively

Responsibilities

  • Participate in daily discussions with IWA (Inject Well Analysts), IWC/POC (Inject Well Controller/Pump Off Controller), AT (Lift Technicians), and Engineers to address daily alarm exceptions and ensure efficient injection well performance.
  • Address and troubleshoot all daily alarm exceptions promptly, ensuring proper action is taken to resolve issues.
  • Perform diagnostics to resolve injection well exceptions and restore them to normal operation.
  • Clear all “0” rates daily and make necessary adjustments in LOWIS, NEXUS, and other related systems.
  • Monitor and inspect all wells with casing alerts, identifying potential issues and taking corrective action.
  • Clean, repair, or replace meters as needed and make appropriate adjustments in LOWIS/ICONICS/Nexus.
  • Calibrate or replace transducers and make required system adjustments in LOWIS/ICONICS/Nexus.
  • Repair or replace motor control valves and motor controllers to ensure proper system functionality.
  • Replace batteries in RTUs (Remote Terminal Units) and troubleshoot/replacement of top cards as necessary to ensure continuous operation.
  • Repair or replace casing monitors to ensure accurate data and proper system performance.
