About The Position

As a Production Technician at MKS Power Solutions, Rochester NY, you will partner with Operations for setup and testing of boards, subassemblies and full assemblies. Also to assist Technical Operations in test development of future MKS Products. In this role, you will report to the Production Test Supervisor. Requirements

  • 2 year degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience and/or military experience in electronics
  • Able to work a set schedule: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail in the tasks that you are assigned to complete
  • Self Sufficient
  • Able to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for setup and testing of boards, subassemblies and full assemblies.
  • Follows test specifications, methods and procedures provided by Technical Operations
  • Troubleshoot routine unit problems
  • Works with the technical operations department on developing future MKS products
  • Reports issues clearly to Technical Operations and assists in problem solving
