About The Position
Our Production Team is Kind of a Big Deal! UniFirst is seeking a reliable and dedicated (Part-Time) Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst community. As a Team Partner in the Production Department, you will help keep our fleet moving by prepping our trucks for delivering product to customers. At UniFirst we offer a part-time schedule from Monday – Friday, enjoy weekends off!! We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training. Requirements
- High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older to operate machinery
- Ability to stand for several hours during shift
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units in weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to lift and carry up 20 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Load garments and additional facility service products onto trucks in preparation for route deliveries
- Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
- Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
