About The Position

For over 15 years, Lightweight Manufacturing has been at the forefront of the tensile manufacturing industry. We specialize in the manufacturing of custom fabric paneling for architecture and tent rentals using Radio Frequency (RF) welding of plastic-coated industrial fabrics. No prior experience is required as on-the-job training is provided for this team-oriented position. We are currently looking for full-time (40 hr/week) production team members for our first shift, 4:30 am-1:00 pm Monday-Friday (Hours subject to change). This is an in-person manufacturing position. Description: New employees will assist machine operators in handling materials (moving, cutting, inspecting, packing, etc). With further training, including blueprinting reading instruction, employees will begin solo operation of RF welding equipment. All employees are responsible for promoting safety by following all safety procedures and practices.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
HS Diploma/GED required
Eligible to work in the United States (We are an E-Verify participant)
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
Basic knowledge of measurements (Knowledge of the metric system a plus!)
Strong attendance and reliability
Ability to work as a part of a team
All candidates will be required to successfully complete the following: Drug Screening Criminal Background Check

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Knowledge of the metric system
