About The Position

Interfor is seeking dependable, safety-focused team members who are eager to learn new skills in a fast-paced sawmill setting. Reliability, communication and teamwork are essential to be successful in the production role at our Port Angeles, WA. location. Starting wage for this position is $23.23 per hour with the potential to grow within the company.

Requirements

• Able and willing to work in varying seasonal climate conditions.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment without compromise.
• Ability to communicate effectively with your team and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Complete clean-up and ground maintenance of assigned area(s).
• Safely assist with keeping a steady flow of lumber throughout the mill.
• Perform any other duties in any area in order to keep the mill in operation.
• Must adhere to an absolute lock-out/tag-out policy.
• walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
