This is a key entry level position within our manufacturing facility which produces quality food products for our customers. Additional $1.50 per hour shift differential for hours worked between 6PM-6AM. Must be flexible for overtime and weekend work. Duties and Responsibilities : Assemble and/or move materials around as needed to complete the main function (i.e., inspecting, pre-weigh, blending, mixing, packing, etc.) Operate equipment as necessary to accomplish tasks and meet targets. Input and track production, safety, and quality data in Production Reporting System (Redzone). Detailed cleaning and sanitation of plant equipment. Load and unload product from the production line. Ensuring daily adherence to the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) Regulations Inspection of packaged finished goods and ingredients. Ensure the integrity and sustained certification of the food safety and food quality system. Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality issues from occurring. Evaluating hazards, verification of measures and procedures that should be taken to achieve a safe work environment Works in a safe manner and promptly reports hazards identified in the work environment. Work involves the use of equipment controls, flour system, and blender recipe system. All other duties assigned.
