About The Position

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Minimum requirement
Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to make good decisions and take decisive action in a fast pace environment.
Able to work (OT) overtime as needed to meet production. Must be able to change shifts as required

Nice To Haves

Automotive assembly, JIT, 5’S, Team Building and Lean Practices experience an asset.
Good verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure Production Team Members have the proper tools and equipment to perform their jobs
Ensure that product defects are repaired, minimized and returned to proper location
Monitor production inventory levels and communicate with material handling
Utilize all quality tools and support (TQM) total-quality-management within the workplace
Monitor and inspect incoming material to production line to ensure non-defective
Recommend disciplinary action for production associates who do not follow company and safety policies
Perform other duties as assigned
