Job PurposeGuide the daily manufacturing activities in a manner that maximizes total departmental performance. Manage the key aspects of safety, quality, process efficiency and cost control that occur on production shifts. This position is for 3rd shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing
Good written and verbal communication skills and
Customer service skills
Strong mathematical skills
Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze all stages of manufacturing process to prevent or correct errors by engaging and coaching with personnel. 35%
Assign daily tasks and shift activities to the manufacturing staff 20%
Ensures that all good work practices and procedures are followed 15%
Participate and contribute in Health & Safety, Security and Environmental activities (SAFE meetings, BBS observer, HS&E training, Near Miss & AIRI reporting, Housekeeping, 5S, Recycling, Waste Management, etc.) 15%
Provides daily production updates and review of shift performance 10%
