About The Position

As a Production Team Lead, you represent the career progression from Production Specialist with expanded responsibilities and leadership duties. You ensure the efficient operation of the production process by managing equipment and teams, performing advanced troubleshooting and maintenance, providing training and leadership to production teams, guidance and development. This role is crucial for maintaining high safety and quality standards, optimizing production efficiency, and fostering a collaborative and skilled team environment. Ensure all products meet quality standards and implement quality assurance processes. The Winter Haven plant is a high-volume, fast-paced 24/7-365 days/year manufacturing environment. Our crews work 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) working 4 days on / 4 days off. Schedules will rotate from day to night shift every 4 weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire and motivate the team, coordinate tasks and activities across teams, provide constructive feedback
  • Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety and ensure products meet high-quality standards;
  • Conducts and participates in on-the-job training and ongoing development of team members;
  • Diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues, adhere to standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities
  • Optimize line efficiency and ensure smooth operations, diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and monitor performance indicators and key performance indicators.
