About The Position

This is a position at the St. Joe Distribution Center What you will do You will oversee and support production operations by training employees, maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards, and ensuring manufacturing goals are met. You will coach team members, administer company policies, and drive continuous improvement in processes, procedures, and equipment. How you will do it Develops an understanding of how to maintain good employee relations through coaching and consistent application of employee relation policies. Partners with operating personnel to meet established goals. Investigates material variances, reports results of investigation and recommends improvements Solicits and encourages process, procedure, and equipment improvements from team members. Performs other duties as assigned. What we do here: St. Joseph - Distribution Center Our St. Joseph, Missouri, distribution center charges, packages, and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks. We opened in 2000, now employ more than 280 people and operate six days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and give back through The United Way, Camp Quality, Second Harvest Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Operations, or related field
  • Ability to work any assigned shift and required overtime
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with administering company policies, union agreements, and disciplinary procedures
  • Experience in monitoring production metrics and driving process improvements
