About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Team Lead to join our dynamic team. This role is critical to ensuring the success of our production and packaging operations while supporting staff, interns, and new business ventures. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED. AA/AS degree preferred.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • 3–5 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly.
  • Proven leadership experience in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, intermediate level in Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Experience with inventory, packaging, and process improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Cultural, disability, and social sensitivity.
  • Strong sense of urgency and sound judgment.
  • Skilled in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management.
  • Adaptable and willing to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Committed to fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace.
  • Must pass a Level II background check/fingerprinting (https://info.flclearinghouse.com), drug screening, and FDOT/MVR check.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to ensure a safe, efficient, and inclusive work environment.
  • Support and mentor team members, including Floaters and interns.
  • Operate and troubleshoot equipment such as the Blister Packaging Machine, barcode scanners and other hand tools or power tools.
  • Oversee all aspects of production, including packaging, assembly, sorting, and inventory control.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, quality control, and documentation.
  • Ensure security of goods, compliance with safety regulations, and adherence to company policies.
  • Provide support for program development and assist with materials transport as needed.
  • Assists with inventory of goods and materials for packaging.
  • May assist with independent and production line jobs, which may include packaging, assembly, sorting, and filling.
  • Moves products and materials to and from work areas.
  • Inspects product for quality attributes.
  • Other duties as assigned by Director.
