The position involves providing direct supervision to Machine Operator I and Machine Operator II, ensuring their training, addressing employee concerns, and ensuring adherence to AMMEGA policies and procedures. The role requires conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues as needed while fostering a positive and productive team environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. The manager will ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently based on customer orders and production plans, monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines. Additionally, the manager is responsible for ensuring that production outcomes conform to customer specifications and conducting safety inspections of the work area and equipment. The role also involves identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality, as well as participating in SQDIP meetings, Gemba walks, and similar initiatives.
