About The Position

This position involves providing leadership and guidance on a variety of production issues within a manufacturing environment. The role requires taking responsibility for the day-to-day operations of a production work cell, which includes communication of daily targets and delegation of responsibilities. The individual will facilitate self-directed work teams, ensuring that resources are allocated correctly for smooth production execution and that the team adheres to documented safety and quality processes. Additionally, the role involves representing the cell during tier meetings, tracking training for new and existing team members, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• High School or GED, required
• Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing or related field, required

• Associates or Bachelor's degree, preferred
• Experience in leadership role, preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance on a variety of production issues
• Perform defined production processes
• Take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of a production work cell
• Communicate daily targets and delegate responsibilities
• Facilitate self-directed work teams
• Ensure resources are allocated correctly for smooth production execution
• Ensure team is following documented safety and quality processes
• Work with team to adhere to company's 6S policies
• Represent the cell during tier meetings
• Be responsible for tracking the training on new and existing team members
