About The Position

The ER Production Support provides oversight and coordination of the ER Field Access and Accountability Operations Center. This position is responsible for ensuring accountability of all ER field personnel, communicating co-located work activities and for directing road traffic for N3B controlled areas. Provides site access briefings and ensures implementation of access control requirements. The Production Support provides for the issuance of keys, radios and confirmation of planned work activities on the ER POD. Maintains required logs and notebook required under Discipline Operations. Initiates procurements for Operations Center supplies and materials. Establishes and maintains a professional attitude in interactions with all personnel and in radio communications. Develop and manage the ER Shift Order and POD. Attend the daily ER POD, revise the POD for authorized work changes, finalize and distribute. Provide the primary contact for ER fieldwork and assist and/or direct callers in acquiring requested help. Initiate the notification chain for incidents as reported to the ER Operations Center. This position reports to the ER Access Control Manager

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advance experience using Microsoft Suite, Adobe and other business type applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively using written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to cultivate a close relationship with multiple customers to understand their needs, respond quickly to their requests, and provide feedback in a timely manner.
  • Level of language skills, mathematical skills, communication skills, reasoning ability and computer skills necessary to perform essential functions of the job.
  • Level 4: Production Support Specialist 4: High school diploma/GED and 7 years of related experience.
  • Level 5: Production Support Specialist 5: High school diploma/GED and 9 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, accurate, and clear communication to ensure accountability of all ER field personnel.
  • Communicate any LANL-wide alerts or notices that could affect field operations.
  • Manage access control of personnel, equipment and vehicles entering and exiting ER field locations.
  • Ensure accountability board is current and the status transferred during radio duty changes.
  • Implement and comply with Conduct of Operations Program elements.
  • Maintain the Operations Center Operator written log.
  • Screen and ensure work activities have been authorized and are scheduled on the Plan-of-the-Day.
  • Act as a focal point for ER field personnel
  • Responsible for abnormal/emergency condition notifications to affected personnel.
  • Provide direction to field personnel in the event of emergency evacuation orders.
  • Keep WOMs and Operations Managers advised of operational status of area facilities and report abnormal/emergency conditions.
  • Maintain the inventory of radios and keys assigned to ER Operations.
  • Issue keys and radios to field personnel as authorized by ER WOMs and Operations Managers.
  • Maintain inventory of government vehicles assigned to ER Operations.
  • Communicate vehicle availability to requestors.
  • Assist in Event Learning and issues management tracking
