About The Position

The Production Supervisor is tasked with overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards while maintaining productivity metrics. This role involves monitoring employee performance, conducting annual performance reviews, and implementing corrective actions as needed. The supervisor is responsible for addressing safety infractions, ensuring accurate timekeeping entries in Kronos, and providing training and mentorship to team members. Additionally, the Production Supervisor collaborates with quality assurance and engineering teams to resolve issues, supports the Lean Flex Flow Process, and actively participates in quarterly supervisor meetings to drive continuous improvement within the production environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, along with at least two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Preferred qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or a technical field and five years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency in data manipulation using M.S. Office applications.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good understanding of company policies/handbook and ability to consistently administer them.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide regular feedback.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Address safety infractions promptly and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping entries in Kronos for all team members.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to resolve production issues.
  • Support the Lean Flex Flow Process to optimize production efficiency.
  • Actively participate in quarterly supervisor meetings to drive continuous improvement within the production environment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Regular in-person attendance at work is a necessary function of the role.
