About The Position

As our Production Supervisor you will be responsible for directing and coordinating all shift activities to optimize quality, efficiency, customer commitment and safety throughout the facility. You will supervise shift personnel and their associated functions, provide leadership, vision and direction to employees, build morale and drive towards the achievement of productions goals and targets. You will help drive performance improvements through the Continuous Improvement / World Class Manufacturing process and implement improvement measures through loss reduction. This position reports to the Pre-Press & Printing Process Manager. This position is based in Sikeston, Missouri. Shift schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off. 12 hours a day (3:30 PM - 3:30 AM).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft office suite: PPT, Excel, Word, email, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Ideally SAP knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great leadership skills
  • Machine maintenance skills
  • Knowledge of quality inspection and machine systems handling
  • Ideally experience with management of operator tags through Autonomous Maintenance
  • Ability to read, understand and comply with work instruction, training manuals, safety rules, standard operating procedures and World Class Manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

  • Supervise 30-35 production employees on shift as needed
  • Set priorities with Maintenance Technicians if more than one machine is broken down
  • Serve as first line manager to employees, including performance reviews and disciplinary action (e.g. improvement plans)
  • Drive and support AM/PM (Autonomous and Preventive Maintenance) activities
  • Work with AM/PM pillar leaders to excel AM/PM methodology throughout the factory
  • Audit 5S and CIL's (Clean, Inspect, Lubricate) effectiveness for all shifts
  • Provide AM/PM training
  • Support OHS (Organization Health and Safety) in the factory, including layered safety audits, tracking and documenting safety tags
  • Support continuous improvement teams and training
  • Run teams as needed
