About The Position

As a Production Supervisor for our Fiberon brand, you will be responsible for the management and supervision of your team, motivating and recognizing them to produce our quality cladding and decking products with our customer in mind. You will make sure our production goals are met while focusing on safety, and quality, and creating a culture of continuous improvement. This position is in our New London, NC plant and is a night shift position working 7 PM -7 AM on a 2-2-3 shift, meaning you will work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, and off every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the activities and associates engaged in the manufacturing of products within their assigned department and shift.
• Assure key operating metrics are achieved by focusing on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost, and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
• Create, maintain, and audit Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and processes.
• Collaborate with associates, leaders, EH&S, and HR to interpret, apply, and consistently enforce all company policies, programs, regulations, and safety rules.
• Maintain accurate time and attendance records for manufacturing associates.
• Promote clean, safe work areas throughout the plant by continuously checking for and resolving hazardous conditions.
• Identify, support, and guide production associates in continuous improvement activities/initiatives.
• Develop, guide, and engage manufacturing associates to ensure they have the proper training and support to utilize all equipment and tools.
• Foster an environment with challenging work, regular coaching, and feedback to manufacturing associates to support and enhance our positive associate relations (PAR) culture.
