About The Position

Position Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising production staff, setting priorities to meet production goals, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels of the organization. Pay Range: $53,664-$80,896

Requirements

• 1-2 years in a leadership role.
• 3-5 years in metal stamping or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience and training in the automotive components industry.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• Experience with CNC machining and shipping.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to assist in troubleshooting.
• Effective communication skills at multiple levels within the organization.
• Ability to work long hours as needed.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production staff and make recommendations as necessary.
• Set production priorities to meet established production goals.
• Monitor production efficiencies and downtime, identifying and implementing solutions to improve performance.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular monitoring and process improvements.
• Address and respond to quality non-conformances.
• Schedule ADP or Cornerstone training and ensure all training requirements are met.
• Enforce plant safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.
