Production Supervisor - Third Shift

About the role The Third Shift Production Supervisor will be accountable for leading direct reports to achieve shift production targets while maintaining a safe and efficient operation and producing products to established quality standards. Accountable for a staff of 15 associates on a daily basis and back up support for the total shift of 30 associates. Third Shift schedule is 1000 PM - 600 AM 5 days a week.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent production management experience required (minimum 3 years people leadership experience).
- People leadership experience required, leadership within manufacturing industry preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Problem solving skills, ability to quickly adapt to unforeseen situations.
Responsibilities
- Execute the production schedule efficiently to meet operational goals and customer expectations.
- Build and maintain a high-performing production team through training, coaching, and development.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and Kerry's internal standards.
- Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Manage the production department within established budget parameters.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes continuous improvement and employee engagement.
- Partner with the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) officer to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
- Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure products meet quality and specification standards.
- Identify and implement strategies to minimize production losses and downtime.
- Ensure food safety programs are effectively implemented and followed.
- Monitor and manage performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Support maintenance function as the primary technical lead on third shift.
