About The Position

The Supervisor role will drive engagement and provide day-to-day direction for the production workforce. You will be responsible for interviewing, developing, coaching, and scheduling employees and supporting a culture of positive employee relations, safety ownership, and continuous improvement. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Manage and develop a team of hourly employees to drive high engagement and performance including: developing and supporting a culture of listening, taking decisive actions, recognizing excellent performance, and holding employees accountable for undesirable behaviors. Consistently and fairly administer and support internal policies and procedures. Communicate and provide feedback regularly to the production team including: daily production meetings, daily priorities, updates on job order status, etc. Schedule production capacity and planning to meet customer expectations. Drive engagement in the safety program to meet zero total recordables. Incorporate and foster continuous improvement by utilizing lean principles and determining root cause and corrective measures to reduce waste in the plant. Recommend preventative maintenance requirements to guarantee safe and efficient operation of equipment. Recommend improvements to manufacturing systems for optimal quality, OTD, cost. For This Role, You Will Need: Two year Associates Degree plus one year of manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field of study, or equivalent experience. Experience with ERP software (JDE preferred). 3+ years of professional-level manufacturing experience. Lean Champion or Lean background.
