About The Position

Eaton’s Power Components Division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift. This is an on-site, 2nd shift (3:30PM-12AM) position based at our Beaver, PA facility. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates currently residing within the US/PR. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing AND/OR operations environment

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing OR operations environment
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory/management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and implement change activities
  • Working knowledge of current manufacturing, engineering, materials management and quality assurance methods and practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate employees
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships at all levels in the organization
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and 5S
  • Lean/Six Sigma knowledge and understanding

Responsibilities

  • Foster a safety-first environment and actively promote practices that prevent incidents. You’ll also implement safety programs to minimize workplace accidents.
  • Oversee the allocation of manpower within your assigned area, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining 5S+ standards while meeting or exceeding productivity expectations.
  • Address safety concerns promptly and take corrective actions as needed. Report process and equipment problems promptly and collaborate with relevant personnel for assistance.
  • Train, upgrade, and evaluate operators’ skills. Providing ongoing coaching and development to enhance performance is essential, and regular reviews of operator performance are necessary.
  • Maintain positive employee relations and adhere to labor contract provisions. When required, apply fair and judicious disciplinary measures.
  • Keep accurate records of employee attendance, performance, and departmental activities. Upkeep employee timecards for accurate and prompt payroll.
