About The Position

As a leading Tier 1 supplier in the automotive industry, we are committed to innovation, precision, and operational excellence. Our Arlington, TX facility is currently seeking a hands-on and results-driven Production Supervisor to lead our Door Assembly manufacturing team and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the production floor, ensuring that safety, quality, and productivity targets are met. This role involves leading a team of production associates, coordinating with cross-functional departments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support operational goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred, or 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP or MES systems.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts, as needed.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Automotive or Tier 1 supplier experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
Monitor production processes and adjust workflows to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Train, coach, and develop team members to enhance performance and support career growth.
Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate goals, expectations, and performance updates.
Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve production issues.
Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and 5S practices.
Monitor and enforce housekeeping and safety standards on the production floor.
Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations.
