About The Position

Reporting to the Production Manager at our Council Bluffs facility, you will oversee production activities on 2nd shift to support the plant's strategic goals focused on Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. You will lead training and development to build a strong operations team and ensure production runs efficiently while maintaining high standards. Your Impact • Monitor production to ensure that quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained. • Lead and coach team members, providing training and resources to ensure job responsibilities are met. • Support sanitation operations to maintain a clean and food-safe environment. • Enforce plant rules, regulations, and procedures consistently. • Evaluate team performance, communicate effectively, and provide feedback for improvement. • Promote and support plant and company safety programs, ensuring adherence to requirements such as lock-out/tag-out, personal protective equipment, and confined space entry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing operations environment.
  • Experience supervising or leading teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Experience in a maintenance or mechanical environment.
