Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Supervisor located in Columbia, SC. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality, and cost goals.

Requirements

  • 5 years of manufacturing operations experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across cross‑functional teams.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Demonstrates deep technical and functional expertise with broad knowledge across multiple technologies, processes, and functions, including understanding site‑level process interdependencies.
  • Exhibits advanced people, process, and customer relationship management skills, effectively leading teams and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Applies strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills, including data analysis, business reporting, technical documentation, presentations, and practical use of mathematical and operational concepts using standard business tools.

Responsibilities

  • Leads multiple production processes/lines in a highly technical manufacturing environment to meet quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness targets.
  • Manages and develops teams of engineers, supervisors, and operators through coaching, training, and performance discussions.
  • Monitors daily operational performance, troubleshoots issues, and drives efficiency, quality, and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Prioritizes production schedules based on product introductions, equipment efficiency, and material availability to meet customer demand.
  • Leads process development, plant improvement, and cost‑reduction projects, providing technical and operational guidance to project teams.
  • Ensures full compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards, including certification, training, and upkeep of a safe, clean work environment.
