About The Position

Landscape Concepts Management is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our landscape maintenance and snow removal teams in the North Shore market . The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing crews, and ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of landscape maintenance and snow removal practices, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in landscaping or horticulture preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in landscape maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, plant health care, and pest management.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor landscape maintenance crews, ensuring effective teamwork and high morale. Conduct daily briefings to outline tasks, goals, and safety protocols. Ensure teams are equipped with needed PPE, including safety vests, ear plugs, chaps, gloves, glasses, etc.
  • Quality Control: Oversee all landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, pruning, weeding, shrub trimming, etc. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
  • Project Management: Plan and schedule maintenance tasks based on client needs and seasonal requirements. Coordinate with other teams and departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects. Determine based on current site conditions if mowing/line trimming are needed and adjust the routes accordingly.
  • Client Relations: Periodicity attend client meetings/site inspections.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to crew members on best practices, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure all maintenance equipment is properly maintained and operated safely. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and materials, coordinating procurement as needed.
  • Snow Operations: Monitor and inspect snow sites and direct teams to deliver on client expectations and needs. Operate snow removal equipment as needed to keep designated properties safe and clear per contract specifications.
