Description Key Responsibilities Lead, oversee, and manage departmental projects, team leaders, and production staff Identify and resolve production flow issues; follow up on recuts, andons, missing parts, and other expediting needs Lead the Daily Management Board; track issues, drive corrective actions, and ensure root cause resolution Ensure daily labor balancing; minimize indirect labor and inefficiencies Plan and schedule departmental production to meet or exceed company takt times Ensure parts, tools, and materials are available and delivered on time to assigned work cells Identify and request tools and shop supplies; submit requests to the Production Manager for approval Manage hiring, discipline, performance recognition, and termination of production employees in accordance with company policy Maintain a safe, organized work environment; enforce safety standards and 5S practices Manage overtime, labor costs, and scrap reduction initiatives Ensure product quality; collaborate with the Quality department on check sheets, corrective actions, and root cause analysis Coordinate production activities with other shifts to ensure continuity and efficiency Maintain accountability for continuous training and development of staff; establish training goals and ensure completion Requirements
