About The Position

Lead, provide direction, and supervise a team of production personnel in order to meet or exceed safety, quality, customer experience and cost control objectives. Actively support and provide feedback manufacturing personnel to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

High School/GED required
1-2 Years of experience leading a team required
1-2 Years of direct experience in hands-on manufacturing required

Responsibilities

Lead and ensure safety compliance in the assigned area and in accordance with company requirements and best practices.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance programs including physically checking production and assisting with machine set-ups.
Consistently lead teams to meet production and/or shipping goals to meet or exceed customer demand.
Monitor inventory levels necessary to complete production schedules and report discrepancies and additional requirements as necessary.
Direct, assist and evaluate team members in both daily and long term requirements and goals
Monitors and maintains efficiencies to achieve best cost and on-time delivery.
Prioritize issues, analyze situations and implement effective corrective actions.
Provide work flow management, planning, analysis, and training necessary to operate department in a clean, safe and productive manner.
Review and approve employee time and schedules, including overtime management.
Computes amounts of stock and supplies required for operations, based on production schedules, and requisition materials from storage area.
Responsible for the professional development of team members, play a key role to guide, coach, and provide constructive feedback to support team members to reach their full potential.
