What You’ll Get to Do The Night Production Shift Supervisor (paint) is focused on employee coaching, training, and development. This role is perfect for an individual who is organized and has good interpersonal management skills. A vital member of the production team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader. Job responsibilities include:

Requirements

• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts either days (6a to 6p) or nights (6p-6a) which includes every other weekend
• Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience
• Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through teamwork
• Experience with employee training and development
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Ensures effective employee relations.
• Provides employee coaching, training, and development
• Balances safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas
• Works to continuously improve in all areas
• Ensure all employees follow operation standards and working practices and verify the conformance to specifications
• Assist with the compiling, storing, and retrieving of production data and other record keeping duties
• Kronos timekeeping.
• Interviewing, and performance evaluations
• Manage employee performance, address employee relation issues and administration of discipline
• Assist with the company’s safety program to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment in part by participating in the safety and 5-S programs of the department
