This Production Supervisor will cover 2nd Shift: 4:30p – 2:30a on Monday – Friday.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong understanding of production workflows and equipment in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
  • Working knowledge of quality systems, documentation standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and measurement tools.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity and strong visual acuity, including color recognition.
  • Flexibility to work multiple shifts or extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations across multiple RLS manufacturing processes (OMS, Bender, Cup & Trim, HydroForm, SpinForm, Inspect, Etch).
  • Lead, train, and supervise a team of production operators, providing real-time feedback and supporting ongoing development.
  • Coordinate daily staffing and shift scheduling to ensure optimal productivity and coverage.
  • Ensure all equipment is operated safely and efficiently, addressing or escalating mechanical issues as needed.
  • Monitor production rates, piece counts, and quality data to meet or exceed established goals.
  • Maintain accurate production records and visual management boards.
  • Oversee quality control processes, ensuring all parts meet company specifications and standards.
  • Support operators in inspections and collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to address deviations, reduce scrap, and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and waste reduction.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct routine audits of documentation, production records, and shift reports.
