The Bernard Group is looking for a Production Supervisor to join our Large Format Cutting team. You’ll be part of a talented group that collaborates to deliver world class products to our customers. This role is responsible for managing, mentoring and coaching employees working in the Large Format Cutting department. The Production Supervisor, with the help of the Production Lead, trains new and existing employees on the most efficient and effective methods of machine set-up, inventory set-up, and process flow. You will be responsible for the overall effectiveness of your team members which includes: managing variable costs such as direct labor and materials utilized, as well as reducing scrap and the need for re-work. The Production Supervisor identifies the need for additional resources, human capital or machinery, and creates the cost/benefit analysis while overseeing the Production or Assembly Leads’ efforts in learning the new equipment, as the subject matter expert, for training purposes. This position has responsibility for performance reviews, staff development, employee engagement, and addressing any necessary disciplinary actions as required. Shift available: Wednesday - Friday 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (rotating 4 month schedule and occasional Saturday's)
