About The Position

As a Production Supervisor, you will direct departmental activities and initiate/participate in cross-functional activities to accomplish the objectives of safety, quality, on-time delivery, inventory, productivity, and continuous improvement, which focuses on removing cost from the business as well as meeting departmental metrics, goals, and objectives. In this role, you will: Drive a Zero Incident Safety Culture and ensure compliance with safety standards. Align quality priorities with department requirements and enforce standardized work processes. Manage daily operations, production priorities, and labor scheduling. Facilitate shift coordination and effective communication across teams. Foster continuous improvement and lean practices to achieve world-class performance. Monitor performance, coach employees, and provide training resources. Maintain equipment, initiate maintenance, and ensure safe working conditions. Oversee inventory, expense budgets, and accurate clerical records. Lead cross-functional teams to improve processes and meet plant goals.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience
  • Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI will be considered.
  • Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Nice To Haves

  • Five (5) years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with lean manufacturing / Operational Excellence in 5S+, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, etc.
  • Experience in an Engineered to order environment
