About The Position

Monitor Safety and Compliance Lead Quality initiatives Facilitate Shift Briefings / Kickoff Meetings Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements Walk the Floor (Gemba Walk) to ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts Manage Workflow Optimization Drive continuous improvement to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership as we drive for success Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams Established and active employee resource groups This position is open to salary grades 6 and 7. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 + years of supervisory and manufacturing experience
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations
  • Ability to work weekends and rotate shifts, as required by the business

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Safety and quality experience
  • Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified
  • Knowledge of constraint management principles
  • Prior experience managing a unionized workforce
