About The Position

We are seeking a Production Supervisor for our Paint Department. The ideal candidate would have experience in project management, project planning, employee supervision, and training. Extensive knowledge with Powder Coat process is preferred. This role requires the ability to work in a team environment providing coordination and support from the fabrication release, assembly, wiring, testing, and shipment of completed products. This is a full-time position with typical working hours Monday – Friday, ranging from 5:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Overtime will be available and/or mandatory at management’s discretion.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience.
Knowledge of Power Coat process is required.
Experience with an ERP system.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Ability to pass background and drug test prior to employment.
Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish daily tasks.
Superior problem solving, project management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Schedules and manages assigned projects to production floor locations and personnel.
Reviews project requirements for design accuracy, purchased goods, assembly and fabrication requirements as well as regulatory compliance requirements.
Conduct design reviews and coordination of projects with plant manager, engineering, and sales.
Coordinates cross departmental jobs for plant productivity and prioritization.
Complete and facilitate design modifications, redlines and troubleshooting with production personnel and engineers.
Reviews incoming purchased and produced goods to the assembly bays for accuracy and acceptability.
Reviews completed projects for conformance with specifications, quality, and closeout requirements prior to shipping coordination.
Interviewing, onboarding, training and reviews with direct reports.
Participates and leads in company process improvements.
