About The Position

We’re growing fast — and looking for a motivated Production Supervisor to join the team leading our 3rd shift crew in Strasburg, OH. The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading production employees to safely manufacture customer products that meet quality standards, customer expectations, and KTP policies. This role focuses on driving productivity, maintaining safety and quality, managing personnel, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across shift operations. What can KTP do for you? Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; degree in supervision or operations management preferred.
  • 2–4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and collaborate across departments.
  • Excellent computer skills — proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and manufacturing software.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, and resolve complex operational issues.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment across all shift operations
  • Ensure compliance with quality programs, procedures, and customer requirements
  • Maximize productivity, efficiency, and waste reduction
  • Organize workforce staffing to meet production demands without compromising safety or quality
  • Accurately manage and report timekeeping, production output, scrap, and yields
  • Communicate effectively with team members, peers, leadership, and cross-functional departments
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration across departments and facilities
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and strong work ethics
  • Motivate, mentor, train, and develop employees to support growth and succession planning
  • Provide hands-on support by assisting with shift operations as needed to ensure smooth and safe production
