About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily manufacturing operations to ensure that customer demands are met while fostering improvements in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and standardization. Utilizing LEAN methodologies and Daily Visual Management, the role aims to continually optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency, all while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards.

Engineering Background
At least 5 years of experience using an ERP/MRP system in a job shop work environment is required.
A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role within a low-volume, high-mix electro-mechanical manufacturing environment is essential.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential for day-to-day tasks and reporting.

Nice To Haves

Experience in integrating new product lines, including expertise in flow/line layout design, is an asset.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and experience with Kaizen events aimed at improving productivity and efficiency is desirable.
Experience in planning and problem-solving within an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
Knowledge of electrical-mechanical assembly techniques, such as wiring control cabinets, working with logical controllers, etc., is advantageous.
A background in engineering is highly desirable and will be a strong plus for the role, especially in problem-solving and process improvements.
Familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial for efficient production and operations management.
