Requirements

• Prior experience as a production supervisor, manufacturing supervisor, shift supervisor, or operations supervisor
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, safety systems, and quality processes
• Strong management, communication, and computer skills
• Ability to lead in a fast‑paced, 24/7 manufacturing plant environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience supervising employees in a union manufacturing or industrial manufacturing environment preferred
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, operations, engineering, or related field strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise union employees in a production manufacturing operation
• Perform daily duties of a production supervisor in a metal and food packaging manufacturing plant
• Ensure compliance with safety programs, food safety regulations, and quality management standards
• Apply SOPs, SPC, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement principles
• Manage production flow, equipment performance, and staffing to meet manufacturing targets
• Track productivity, efficiency, waste reduction, and manufacturing KPIs
• Maintain labor agreement compliance while assigning work and managing attendance
• Communicate effectively across shifts with maintenance, quality, engineering, and manufacturing operations teams
