Holman Upfitting has a great opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our team in Kansas City, MO! Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm Eligible for benefits within 30 days of employment Benefits include health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, paid time off and more! Valid driver’s license required The Production Supervisor will oversee the shipping and delivery of materials by analyzing, developing, and measuring logistics plans that affect warehousing, distribution, and core collection.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Leadership experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight and/or warehouse operations
  • Understanding the process of building a vehicle/ Shipping and Inspections
  • Experience with supporting software such as transportation management, warehouse optimization, and route mapping systems.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Must be able to work in multiple environments – shop, outside in all types of weather conditions as well as in an office.
  • Must pass a physical, drug test, and criminal background check prior to employment.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and guide team members to improve knowledge and skill where required.
  • Monitor industry trends, standards, and practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Identifies, partners, and executes “One Holman” initiatives.
  • Devises strategies to create cost-effective and profitable solutions to challenges such as forward and reverse logistics, inbound product delivery, and fleet management.
  • Track product flows from origin to final delivery and recommends improvements to existing operations and partner carriers.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
