Production Supervisor
About The Position
As an ISC Production Supervisor at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing the production processes at a designated site. This involves ensuring production goals are met efficiently and effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You will lead a team of production workers, manage resources, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations. This role significantly impacts the overall efficiency and productivity of production operations by ensuring schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed, thereby contributing to the company's success and growth. Your leadership and management skills will also be crucial in fostering a positive work environment and driving employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day production operations within the assigned department
- Lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and production targets
- Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of products
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and implement best practices
- Conducts performance reviews bi-annually
- Maintains Key performance Indicators to track and improve team performance
- Assign capacity and resources to fulfill customer requirements and balance with factory needs
- Develop and oversee production plans along with Planning and Program Management
- Utilize strong people skills to align team members toward common business and performance goals
- Provides daily resources for products requiring assembly, daily status of key work orders to ensure schedules are met
- Assures that tools, procedures, trained personnel, work instructions are in place
