Requirements

  • Associates degree and/or equivalent in manufacturing experience.
  • 5 plus years of experience in manufacturing
  • Highly engaged leader of people
  • Problem solving ability and critical thinking skills required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to learn and work with varying computer programs such LOGOS, SAP, LMS and Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong commitment to safety systems and OSHA required standards.

Nice To Haves

  • preferred batch making experience
  • 3 plus years of leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee production activities and employee policy compliance to ensure all quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Complete and store documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Procedures, auditing standards, and Human Resources requirements.
  • Provide and implement feedback and continuous improvement ideas involving plant safety, quality and production.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to ensure team members meet all safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Urgently follow-up with disciplinary action and/or incentive programs as appropriate.
  • Lead Production Meeting for department supervisors, effectively determining and communicating priorities for the next 12-hour shift.
  • Utilize SAP to update production schedule and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Advocate and support employee morale by enthusiastically participating in plant activities, meetings, and trainings.
