About The Position

Crenlo is seeking a high-output Production Supervisor to drive daily production results and continuous improvement within their Manufacturing team. This role is responsible for owning line performance across safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, and material flow, and delivering results through disciplined execution, problem solving, and accountability. The Production Supervisor is expected to be actively involved on the production floor, identify and solve problems quickly, drive both hourly teams and salaried support functions, and maintain control of materials, inventory accuracy, and system transactions. This is a hands-on leadership role for individuals who take ownership and operate with urgency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, or related field required OR 10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, including demonstrated leadership in a production environment
Candidates without a degree must demonstrate a track record of driving measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, or efficiency
3+ years of supervision experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause and execution
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization
Experience working in a team-based and/or union environment
Experience maintaining transactional accuracy in a production environment, including material movements and inventory control
Familiarity with ERP systems for production and inventory tracking
Self-driven and does not wait to be told what to do
Accountable and owns results, good or bad
Direct and communicates clearly while setting expectations
Resilient and performs under pressure
Results-oriented and focused on outcomes, not activity

Nice To Haves

Lean manufacturing experience including Kaizen, standard work, and waste elimination
Welding and fabrication experience
Experience with production metrics such as efficiency, throughput, and scrap
Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or similar ERP systems

Responsibilities

Enforce safety standards with zero tolerance for unsafe behavior
Act immediately to correct hazards and drive a proactive safety culture
Own daily schedule attainment with no surprises
Adjust labor and priorities in real time to maintain flow and hit targets
Drive labor efficiency through proper staffing, line balance, and waste elimination
Continuously improve Direct Labor Efficiency through disciplined execution
Maintain a strong, visible presence on the production floor
Identify issues early and act immediately to prevent disruption
Lead root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions
Eliminate recurring issues instead of managing symptoms
Hold team members accountable for performance, attendance, and quality
Coach, train, and take corrective action when standards are not met
Drive urgency and follow-through from Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Materials
Escalate and resolve issues that impact production without delay
Own material flow and inventory accuracy with no production loss due to system or inventory errors
Ensure accurate, real-time material transactions including receipts, moves, issues, and completions
Maintain alignment between physical inventory and ERP system records
Prevent disruptions caused by shortages, mis-picks, or inaccurate inventory
Implement measurable improvements to cost, quality, and throughput
Execute lean manufacturing principles to improve flow and eliminate waste
Build and maintain a cross-trained team with no single points of failure
Facilitate training, coaching, and performance development
Enforce high expectations for housekeeping, organization, and discipline
Maintain a clean, controlled, and efficient work environment
