Accountable for the safety of all employees on the shift through active engagement in safety programs and clear communication of safe work expectations. Lead required safety meetings, including pre‑shift briefings, departmental updates, and change‑management discussions. Investigate safety incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement timely corrective actions. Identify and drive corrective and preventive actions to eliminate or reduce environmental, health, and safety risks. Supervise and coordinate all production and operating activities to meet Key Performance Indicators (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity). Ensure proper equipment management, inspection, and operation to produce products that meet or exceed customer expectations. Support troubleshooting and corrective actions for machine stoppages or quality issues. Enforce all organizational policies including SOPs, safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and standard work instructions. Train, coach, motivate, and provide performance feedback to production employees on the 3rd shift. Assign responsibilities, delegate tasks, and ensure employees clearly understand goals and expectations. Ensure proper training and skills development for all team members.
