About The Position

M&M Industries is a U.S.-based manufacturer of plastic pails and packaging solutions. We operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where safety, quality, and operational excellence are essential to meeting customer expectations and driving strong business results. Production Supervisors are integral members of the plant leadership team and are responsible for implementing and sustaining operational improvements, controlling inventory and material flow, and ensuring customer requirements are met. This role coordinates resources across one or more shifts to ensure safe, efficient manufacturing operations while promoting a strong team environment and continuous improvement. The Production Supervisor is responsible for training and development of hourly employees, workforce planning, work assignment, meeting production schedules, and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies. This position requires a results-driven leader with the ability to think strategically, solve problems, drive quality, and empower teams to identify and implement improvements.

Requirements

  • Ability to apply critical thinking and root cause analysis tools and documentation methods to identify defects, develop countermeasures, and solve problems

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Injection molding experience preferred
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Lean Sigma principles preferred

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and customer expectations
  • Own KPIs related to Productivity, Scrap, Quality, and Scheduled Hours
  • Ensure day-to-day operations follow established processes to produce quality products
  • Communicate production priorities clearly, including which products run on specific machines
  • Supervise hourly, non-exempt employees to ensure efficient plant operations
  • Train and develop hourly, non-exempt employees
  • Coordinate production activities with Quality, Materials/Logistics, Safety, and Maintenance teams
  • Onboard new team members using M&M Industries best practices for training and development
  • Initiate safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale improvements within Assembly operations using World Class Manufacturing tools and principles
  • Perform Systematic Workplace Organization, Autonomous Maintenance, and Safety initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned
