About The Position

The 1st Shift Production Supervisor will be accountable for leading direct reports to achieve shift production targets while maintaining a safe and efficient operation and producing products to established quality standards. Hours are 600 AM to 600 PM for four day rotation, on four days then off four days.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent production management experience required (minimum 3 years people leadership).
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and processes.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Problem solving skills, ability to quickly adapt to unforeseen situations.

Nice To Haves

• Food manufacturing experience preferred, but open to other industry manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute the production schedule efficiently to meet operational goals and customer expectations.
• Build and maintain a high-performing production team through training, coaching, and development.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and Kerry's internal standards.
• Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Manage the production department within established budget parameters.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes continuous improvement and employee engagement.
• Partner with the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) officer to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
• Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure products meet quality and specification standards.
• Identify and implement strategies to minimize production losses and downtime.
• Ensure food safety programs are effectively implemented and followed.
• Monitor and manage performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
