About The Position

Responsibilities: Supervise daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. Lead, coach, and develop production team members to support performance, accountability, and a strong continuous improvement culture. Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards (IATF 16949), safety requirements, and company manufacturing procedures. Monitor production KPIs, scrap levels, and downtime while implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and product quality. Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workflow to meet customer demand and production deadlines for rubber/plastic components. Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues and drive Lean manufacturing initiatives. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or manufacturing certifications preferred. 3+ years of supervisory or lead experience in an automotive, rubber, plastics, or related manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of automotive quality standards, safety practices, and continuous improvement principles (Lean, 5S, etc.). Ability to lead teams, manage production schedules, and effectively communicate across shifts and departments. Proficiency with basic computer systems (production reporting, ERP/MES systems, Microsoft Office) and production KPI tracking. Requirements
