The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the manufacturing unit. This role involves the development and management of employees, maintaining workflow processes, ensuring quality and compliance, and fostering a collaborative and safe work environment. The Production Supervisor also plays a key role in implementing company policies and driving continuous improvement within the production processes.

  • Select, onboard, train, and develop employees' personal growth objectives. Communicate job expectations, administer recognition and corrective actions, and resolve personnel problems through data analysis and solution implementation.
  • Introduce and support business policies and ethical standards. Foster cooperation within and between departments and maintain working relationships with unions by adhering to collective bargaining agreements.
  • Develop and manage tactical plans, maintain workflow processes, and monitor control points, personnel, and resources. Implement cost reductions, develop reporting systems, and facilitate process control corrections.
  • Compile, analyze, and respond to production performance data and requests, ensuring accurate and efficient information flow. Schedule and assign personnel, establish priorities, monitor progress, and achieve work results.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating personnel on control points, equipment, and resources, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in leading processes, projects, or teams, with a proven ability to guide employees toward achieving continuous process improvements through effective leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to set priorities, work safely, manage high-volume workload, and have willingness to be collaborative and support other efforts.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  • Must have a valid US Driver's License
  • This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
  • This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
  • This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies. To meet the government-facility requirements, the candidate must be a US citizen.
