As a Production Supervisor/Team Lead, you will be at the forefront of our production teams, guiding and coaching associates to meet safety, quality, and production goals. Using a process-based leadership model, you will collaborate closely with the Production Manager/Asset Lead to establish priorities and ensure that short-term and long-term objectives are met. This role requires strong leadership and coaching skills to drive success. Essential Accountabilities: Execute business processes to maintain production rates and adhere to policy and procedure expectations. Manage the performance of direct reports, including one-on-one meetings, training schedules, reviews, development plans, and disciplinary documentation. Communicate business priorities, strategies, and information to the team and other functional areas. Ensure a safety and quality culture is sustained. Manage and maintain staffing of full-time and temporary associates. Be accountable for metrics tied to the work center scorecard and ensure the accuracy of shift data (output, labor waste, downtime). Develop familiarity with converting equipment to guide associates in troubleshooting and problem-solving when equipment is not running properly. Ensure proper closure of work orders, entering hours and quantities, and lot of the day. Investigate and document accident reports in collaboration with the Safety Coordinator and document near-miss opportunities. Fill in for the Asset Leader in their absence when assigned or necessary.
