In this role, you will manage and oversee a specific department and team within the production process. You will coordinate the team’s activities to accomplish the established production and safety goals, ensuring that the output meets quality and accuracy standards. Additionally, you will maintain time and production records, train and coach associates to follow and maintain production Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and be responsible for maintaining high employee morale and positive relationships. This includes addressing and managing absenteeism and employee performance. You will also teach safe work practices and good housekeeping procedures, ensuring adherence to these standards. Furthermore, you will recommend changes or improvements in methods, equipment, handling, or layout, and be responsible for controlling scrap and waste. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
